Warner Bros. has moved the premiere for the “Minecraft” movie back to March 4, 2022.
Microsoft purchased Mojang, the Swedish creator of the game, for $2.5 billion in 2014 and originally set the date for a movie based on the video game for May 24, 2019.
No explanation was provided for the premiere date relocation.
